Cross Bronx Expressway Reopens Following Tractor-Trailer Fire

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The Cross Bronx Expressway has reopened to all traffic following an earlier tractor-trailer fire.

The westbound lanes were closed for approximately three hours.

There are still heavy delays back to the Bruckner Interchange.

The closure also caused an hour delay at the George Washington Bridge throughout the morning.

It's unclear what caused the tractor-trailer fire or whether anyone was hurt.
