Police: Couple Shot In Their Bedroom At Bay Shore Apartment Complex
BAY SHORE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A gunman made his way inside a Long Island apartment and shot at a couple in the bedroom Saturday night, police said.
The man and the woman survived the violent intrusion shortly before 11 p.m. in an apartment at 15 Hemlock Drive in the Lexington Village complex in Bay Shore.
County detectives are searching for a suspect and a motive for the shooting.
Authorities identified the victims as Jerome Ruddock, 28, and Mia Anderson, 20. They were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
