Funeral Services Held For Connecticut State Trooper Who Died After Vehicle Was Swept Away By Floodwaters During Ida
HARTFORD, Conn. (CBSNewYork) -- Funeral services were held Thursday for a Connecticut state trooper who died in a flood during Ida.
Taps was played outside the Xfinity Theatre in Hartford.
Inside, hundreds of officers from across the country gathered to support the family of 50-year-old Sgt. Brian Mohl. The 26-year veteran died on Sept. 2 after his car got swept away in floodwaters.
Mohl is survived by his wife, three children and three grandchildren.
