Girl Found Safe After Going Missing At Coney Island

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 6-year-old girl was found safe Sunday afternoon, after her parents thought she was in the water offshore from Coney Island, Brooklyn.
Fire crews were called to 3060 W. 12th St., between Bowery and the boardwalk, for a call of a missing child, the FDNY told CBS2.
The child's parents believed the child may be in the water, and two divers conducted a search, the FDNY said.
The girl was later found safe on the boardwalk at 6th Street, the FDNY said.
