Coney Island Cyclone Reopens After Disappointing Opening Day
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Coney Island's famous Cyclone roller coaster reopened Saturday a disappointing opening day.
Last Saturday, the iconic coaster was packed with passengers for the first ride of the season when it got stuck near the top.
Riders had to get down by walking down the steps.

"We just got stuck up there," said Adam Myers. "We didn't know what was going on, we thought it was a power outage or something."
Now back on track, the thrill machine is once again delivering on a need for speed, CBS2's Steve Langford reported.
Diana Elsener, whose family she said has been riding the Cyclone since the late 1930s, was back after last week's heart-stopping halt on high.
"I was a little nervous getting on," she said.
Elsener was one of the Cyclone riders who had to endure a daunting descent on foot to safety. She said she spent Monday in the hospital with leg pains, but family tradition dictated a return this weekend.
"Just as fun as it ever was," she said.
Myers was also back after getting stuck on the ride last weekend.
"We made it over the hill and I was going 'We made it! We made it!'" he said.
Myers said he got to Coney Island just after midnight Saturday to wait in line for take two of the roller coaster's seasonal debut.
"It was definitely worth the wait. It's still amazing, it's still great," he said.
Park officials told CBS2 the problem was caused by the cold weather.
