Fire Rips Through Multiple Buildings In College Point, Queens
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- An extra-alarm fire tore through an apartment building in College Point, Queens Thursday evening, and quickly spread to adjacent buildings.
The fire broke out around 9:50 p.m. at 18-11 College Point Blvd., a three-story apartment building with businesses on the ground level, the FDNY told CBS2.
The fire was raised to four alarms, and spread to multiple other buildings, the FDNY said.
A crowd gathered in the street as the flames and smoke poured into the night sky.

There was no word on any injuries late Thursday.
