Drug Trafficking Ring Shipped Cocaine To New York Inside Children's Lunch Boxes, Investigators Say

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- There was a bust on a drug trafficking ring that brought in cocaine from Puerto Rico.

Drug Enforcement Task Force agents say the scheme involved mailing cocaine inside children's lunch boxes.

Five men in New York have been charged in the case. Prosecutors say the suspects shipped numerous packages to New York and Massachusetts.

Investigators say two alleged ringleaders worked as managers for recording artists in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.
