1 In Custody, Multiple Casualties In 'Serious And Evolving' Active Shooter Situation At Mosques In New Zealand

CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Authorities in New Zealand were responding to reports of a shooting at two mosques and a hospital Friday afternoon local time.

Police didn't immediately release specific information about the scale of the attack, but witnesses say several people have been killed in the shooting.
