Christie Kicked Out Of Amtrak Quiet Car

NEW JERSEY (CBSNewYork) -- Chris Christie is accused of causing a commotion while in locomotion.

The New Jersey governor was talking loudly on his cell phone today in a designated quiet car, according to one Amtrak passenger. A photo of Christie getting kicked out of the car was later published on Instagram.

Christie's camp issued an apology earlier today. Christie said he didn't realize he was in a quiet car, and that he moved when asked.

Christie was returning home from Washington after appearing on CBS' "Face The Nation."

While on "Face The Nation," Christie had some sharp words for Bill de Blasio, saying that the New York City mayor wasn't doing enough to protect police.

"And then when you have liberal mayors like Bill de Blasio in New York, who are basically tying one hand behind the back of police officers," Christe said on the show.

Mayor de Blasio's office released a statement Sunday night in response to the comment:

"NYC is not on any high-crime lists. The governor simply does not know what he is talking about."
