Mother, Son Say They Were Assaulted By Group Claiming To Look For iPhone In Castle Hill
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD is looking for suspects in a bizarre assault in New York.
Two women who can be seen on surveillance footage were with a man when they knocked on the door of a home on Randall Avenue in Castle Hill last week.
They told the mother and son inside that they lost an iPhone and tracked it to the house. The family told them they didn't have it, and got the group to leave.
When the mother and son tried to get the group's license plate they were assaulted.
The suspects got away.
