Buddhist Temple Vandalized In Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Police are looking for a suspect who they say vandalized a Buddhist temple Wednesday on 39th Avenue in the Flushing section of Queens.

The suspect was caught on surveillance video after the attack.

Police say the man ran into the temple and threw a piece of concrete that hit and smashed several statues. The suspect then fled the scene.

The Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating.
