Reports: Nets Sign Blazers' Crabbe To 4-Year, $75 Million Offer Sheet
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The Brooklyn Nets have signed restricted free agent shooting guard Allen Crabbe to a whopping four-year, $75 million offer sheet, according to multiple reports.
The Portland Trail Blazers have three days to match the offer.
According to Yahoo's The Vertical, the contract includes a player option on the fourth year and a trade kicker that could escalate the deal to $83 million.
Crabbe, 24, is coming off his third NBA season. Last year, he played in 81 games, starting eight, and averaged 10.3 points and 2.7 rebounds and shot 46 percent from the field. He's also considered to be a strong defender.

The Nets also have signed Miami Heat shooting guard Tyler Johnson to a four-year, $50 million offer sheet. There is growing speculation, however, that the Heat will match that offer after Dwyane Wade signed with the Chicago Bulls.
Under first-year general manager Sean Marks and new coach Kenny Atkinson, the Nets are rebuilding. Since Marks took over in February, Brooklyn has parted ways with Joe Johnson, Andrea Bargnani, Thaddeus Young and Jarrett Jack. The Nets have signed point guard Jeremy Lin, forward Trevor Booker and center Justin Hamilton and drafted guards Caris LeVert and Isaiah Whitehead.
Last season, the Nets were 21-61 -- the second-worst record in the Eastern Conference.
