Brooklyn Man Accused Of Tampering With NYPD Van Brakes

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - A Brooklyn man is facing charges for allegedly tampering with a police vehicle.

Police said Jeremy Trapp, 24, damaged the brakes of a marked NYPD van near 4th Avenue and 43rd Street in Sunset Park.

Police discovered the van Saturday night.

Trapp is facing criminal mischief, reckless endangerment and auto stripping charges.
