Brooklyn Elevator Shooting Caught On Surveillance Video

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a gunman caught on surveillance video shooting a 25-year-old man inside a Brooklyn elevator.

The incident occurred around 8 p.m. on Dec. 30 at an apartment building at 940 Gates Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

The victim was leaving the elevator when the suspect shot him in the torso, police said.

The suspect then fled the scene.

The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital where he is listed in stable condition, police said.
