Person Of Interest Sought In Connection With Deadly Bronx Playground Shooting: NYPD
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police have released surveillance video of a man who they said is wanted for questioning in connection with a fatal shooting inside a Bronx playground.
Ryan Ginyard, 24, was shot in the chest at the Mount Hope Playground on June 29, police said.
He was inside the playground when police said he heard a shot, felt pain and then fell to the ground. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but later died.
The person of interest is described by police as a black man between the ages of 25 and 35, about 5'10" tall and 180 to 190 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a gray shirt with the number 72 on it, light blue jeans, a light-colored baseball cap and brown sneakers.
