1 Shot, 1 Stabbed, 1 Hit By Flying Glass Outside Bronx McDonald's
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A woman was shot, a man was stabbed, and another man was injured when a bullet shattered a window at a McDonald's, in the Bronx Friday evening.
The shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. in front of a McDonald's at Claremont Parkway and Washington Avenue in the Claremont section of the Bronx.
The 41-year-old woman was shot in the leg outside the McDonald's, police said. She was taken to Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, and her condition was reported as stable.
A 27-year-old man suffered cuts to the face due to shattering glass from a bullet that came into the McDonald's, police said. His condition was stable and his injuries were minor when he was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, police said.
Another man, 22, suffered a stab wound, police said. His condition was reported as stable at St. Barnabas, and his injuries were not life-threatening.
"It was complete chaos; a shootout; a shooting," McDonald's night manager Bibi Rosario told CBS2's Dave Carlin. "Everybody was calling to make sure everyone is all right."
At the scene, a bullet hole was seen in the plate glass window of the McDonald's, and cups were placed upside-down over bullet fragments in the evidence zone outside.
A suspect was taken into custody and a gun was recovered, police said.
