Police: Suspect Attacked, Robbed 13-Year-Old Boy In Brighton Beach, Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police late Thursday were searching for a suspect in an attack on a 13-year-old boy in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn.
Around 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, the boy was walking past 195 Brighton 10th St. in Brooklyn, when the suspect came up and asked him for the time, police said.
As the boy gave the suspect the time, the suspect assaulted him and went through his pockets, police said.
The victim had no property to take, so the suspect ran off, police said.
The suspect was described as being in his late teens and 6 feet tall. Police have released surveillance photos.
