On Wednesday night in Kansas City, we were treated to a compelling Game 7 matchup between the Giants and the Royals, which saw San Francisco capture its third World Series title in the last five years to put a cap on the 2014 MLB season. Boomer and Craig both were a little sleep-deprived after staying up to watch a champion get crowned.
In addition to the action on the diamond, the Knicks opened their 2014-15 campaign with a brutal loss to the Bulls at the Garden, while the Nets were getting beat down in Beantown by the Celtics.
