Boomer & Carton: We Got Tanaka! We Got Tanaka! (And Knicks Are A Joke)
The Yankees' high-spending offseason continues as the Bomber ink Japanese ace Masahiro Tanaka to a very lucrative deal. For those of you keeping score at home, Brian Cashman and the Yanks' upper-brass have committed over $430 million this offseason (so far), which all but puts to bed the notion that this ownership is not committed to winning.
Boomer and Craig began their Thursday 'play date' by discussing the Yankees spending spree, what we might expect with the addition of Tanaka, and Craig shows Boomer his new 'Tanaka Dance.'
In a 'related' story, the Mets avoided arbitration with Lucas Duda - how 'bout that?!
As for the lowly Knicks, they lost to the Sixers and have now begun their eight-game home stand with three straight losses. Overall Carmelo Anthony & Co. have lost five in a row and are headed straight to the bottom of the the barrel.
Speaking of Melo, during last night's loss the Knicks star shared 'pleasantries' with a fan, which prompted Craig to break into song, and Boomer soon followed.
So the Yanks got Tanaka and the Knicks are a joke -- let the fun begin...
