After a long layoff, the NBA Finals finals got underway last night in Oakland and it was Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors who prevailed, overcoming a 44-point performance (on 18-38 shooting) courtesy of LeBron James.

Boomer and Craig changed things up a little bit Friday morning by opening their radio program talking about the best sport of them all -- it's true, you can look it up -- as the NBA Finals appear to be a case of the "best player on the planet" against the "best team."

Shifting gears to baseball, New York can currently boast that it is the home for two of baseball's best teams -- at least according to the standings anyway -- this after the Mets downed the Diamondbacks 6-2 in Arizona behind Matt Harvey's sixth win of the season.  That combined with the Nationals dropping their third in a row catapulted the Mets back into first in the NL East, while the Yanks were idle and held onto their first place status in the AL East.

So with that said, one would have to wonder why it is that while the Yankees are actively looking to improve their roster by adding at least another right-handed pitcher, their NL counterpart appears content on standing pat, which Craig has a big problem with.  Boomer believes it to be a case of Craig just being negative, a conclusion Carton himself vehemently denied.

In addition to all of that goodness, Boomer also talked about how the lovely Hannah Davis prompted him to up his DirecTV sports package and Craig did his best to get out of the Breitling jet ride Boomer has set up for him.

It's a Friday folks, start acting like it...
