Rick Barry's basketball resume speaks for itself. This morning the Hall of Famer joined Boomer & Craig and his knowledge of the game was on full display, as he spoke passionately about the game he loves, starting with the ongoing NBA playoffs as LeBron James continues to dominate the league.
Barry spoke about the Knicks' current situation, citing the importance for Phil Jackson to be able to recognize talent and make smart personnel moves, as well as Carmelo Anthony's desire to win and how that will factor in to his decision of where he'll play next season.
Donald Sterling's name came up; Barry talked about being lied to by the Clippers owner a while back and had nothing good to say about the man.
The 70 year-old Barry doesn't play hoops anymore for fear of injury, but he can still shoot. So theses days, to get the competitive juices flowing he competes in long drive contests -- and wins! Mr. Barry is currently the reigning Re/Max Long Drive title holder, having won the 65-plus championship back in 2013...
