Boomer & Carton: Phil Simms Is Happy And Jim Nantz Commands Respect

Boomer and Craig were happy to take a call from a jubilant Phil Simms on Tuesday morning. Now, jubilant is rarely a word used to describe the former Giants quarterback -- at least on this radio program anyway -- but the mere presence of his television partner Jim Nantz has changed all of that.
Like Boomer, Simms and Mr. Nantz were in attendance for Monday's CBS symposium for NFL talent, so that was discussed, as was Boomer's facial hair and trimmer waist line.
Before saying goodbye, Simms was sure to mention the rising star that is Adam Schein, host of the brand new "Time to Schein" on the CBS Sports Network.
With Simms out of the picture, Boomer and Craig kept their Jim Nantz evaluation going -- the respect-commanding Jim Nantz -- which seemed to make Boomer pretty uncomfortable...
