In-Kreider-able is one way of describing the Rangers' performance over the weekend, which began Friday with the Blueshirts facing elimination, trailing the Capitals 3-1 in their best-of-seven series.

Enter Chris Kreider, who scored the game-tying goal Friday night with under two minutes to go in the third period, then followed that up Sunday night by lighting the lamp (hockey slang) twice in the first period, leading the way to a 4-3 victory and setting up a Game 7 Wednesday night at the Garden.

Needless to say, Craig's big blonde radio partner was thrilled with the weekend's happenings and thrilled to talk about it while opening up this Monday edition of the Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza.

The NBA was also front and center over the weekend thanks to a trifecta of buzzer-beaters, the latest coming in Chicago on Sunday afternoon courtesy of the self-proclaimed "King" himself, LeBron James.

Additionally, Boomer and Craig were thrilled with the outcry of support they have received for the June 3 charity celebrity softball game at Yankee Stadium, which will benefit the NYPD.
