Alex Rodriguez went deep last night in the Bronx, which was significant on many levels, beginning with the direct effect it had on the outcome of the Yankees' 4-3 win over the Orioles. Team first.

The home run was also substantial in the career of A-Rod, as it marked the 661st time he had accomplished the feat, surpassing the great Willie Mays for fourth on the all-time list.

Finally, following the round-tripper -- which left little doubt as it jumped off his bat -- the fans in the Bronx demanded a curtain call, something Boomer never imagined he'd see and he is certainly not alone in thinking along those lines.

Craig echoed Boomer's sentiments, adding that considering his production and the manner in which he has handled things thus far, Rodriguez has become someone you root for because he is a "game-changer."

Moving right along, Tom Brady has been called a game-changer before -- and rightfully so -- but these days Brady's name is associated with deflated balls and dishonesty, which was also addressed in this action-packed show open, after the reigning Super Bowl MVP has offered no comment yet on his role in Deflategate.

The Dynamic Radio Duo that is Boomer Esiason and Craig Carton were also sure to mention the funeral for fallen hero Brian Moore, who will be laid to rest today on Long Island.

Not to be left out, the Mets will be in action tonight down in Philly and Matt Harvey will be on the mound, making today a Harvey Day.
