Biggest winter storm snow totals around N.Y., N.J. and Conn.

NEW YORK - This weekend's winter storm truly brought a mix of weather and impacts throughout the Tri-State Area.

So who got the most snow out of it?

As of noon Sunday, the top five spots were: 

  • Plattekill in Ulster County, N.Y., with 14.6"
  • Port Jervis in Orange County, N.Y. with 13.1" 
  • Wantage in Sussex County, N.J., also with 13.0" 
  • Unionville in Orange County, N.Y. with 12.4"
  • Blairstown in Warren County, N.J. with 10.5" 

Here's a closer look at some other snow totals around the area:

  • Cold Spring in Putnam County, N.Y. got 6.5"
  • Franklin Lakes in Bergen County, N.J. got 5.7" 
  • Greenwich, Conn. got 4.5" 
  • Stony Point in Rockland County, N.Y. got 4" 

Despite these significant impacts elsewhere, New York City continued its snow drought, with less than an inch recorded.

A look at some of the low snow accumulations around the are: 

  • Newark, N.J. got 0.4" 
  • LaGuardia Airport got 0.3"
  • Central Park got 0.2" 
  • JFK Airport got 0.1" 
  • Islip, N.Y. got just a trace

It has now been a record-setting 693 days since New York City got an inch of snow in Central Park. The last time was on Feb. 13, 2022.
