NEW YORK -- A powerful winter storm brought the highest single-day snow accumulation in several years to parts of the Tri-State Area.

• Warwick, New York: 13.4 inches
• Newtown, Connecticut: 13.2 inches
• Highland Mills, New York: 12.3 inches
• Cold Spring, New York: 11.1 inches

New York City

• Woodlawn: 8 inches
• Coney Island: 6.9 inches
• Howard Beach: 5.7 inches
• Central Park: 3.2 inches officially, 3.9 inches as measured by CBS New York's Lonnie Quinn
• Westerleigh: 3.3 inches

Long Island

• Locust Valley: 8.7 inches
• Syosset: 7.5 inches
• Levittown: 6 inches
• South Massapequa: 5.3 inches
• Malverne: 4.6 inches

Hudson Valley

• Chester: 13 inches
• Mahopac: 11.3 inches
