Beyoncé fans brave the heat & the rain for Renaissance World Tour concert at MetLife Stadium

Beyoncé fans dress the part for Renaissance tour concert in New Jersey

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour arrived at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford on Saturday for the first of two shows there this weekend.

Fans came by train and from other states, prepared for rain and for the warm temperatures.

"A Bey Hive stan through and through. I brought my fan," one fan said.

"I bought a poncho," another fan said.

Cooling tents were set up, and some who arrived hours early sought shade under trees while waiting to enter the stadium.

"My shoes are getting hot, but it's OK. It's worth it," a fan said.

Despite the heat, fans remained dedicate to their fashion, not changing any of their planned looks.

"Were you gonna compromise your outfit tonight?" CBS New York's Alice Gainer asked one fan.

"Absolutely not. No, never that," they said.

"I'm kind of channeling a human disco ball," another fan said.

"The inspiration was basically from the outfits that she wore performing," another fan said.

Temperatures hit 90 degrees, but a woman with rhinestones on her face wasn't too concerned.

"Hasn't melted yet. We'll see," she said.

Patrice Sosoo's 4-year-old daughter seemed to get it right for her very first concert, dressed to stay cool with some cowboy boots to look cool.

Already a queen to her fans, New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy made it official, proclaiming Beyoncé "the Queen Bey of the Garden State."

In honor of Beyoncé blessing New Jersey with her presence this weekend, I hereby proclaim the Irreplaceable lyrical genius “Queen Honey-Bey” of the Garden State. I hope this weekend is a Party to remember. #BeyHive
