Bernie Sanders Wins Maine Democratic Presidential Caucus
AUGUSTA, Maine (CBSNewYork) -- U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-Vermont) won the Democratic presidential caucus in Maine Sunday evening.
Sanders received 64.2 percent of the vote, compared with 35.6 percent for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, with 80 percent of the precincts reporting.
On Saturday, Sanders won also by a solid margin in Nebraska and also won in Kansas, now giving him eight victories so far in the nominating season.
On the Republican side Sunday, U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Florida) picked up his second win and it was big. He won the GOP primary in Puerto Rico with 74 percent of the vote.
Trump came in second in the Puerto Rico primary, followed by U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas).
