BERGENFIELD, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A doctor from Dumont, New Jersey faced new charges of criminal sexual contact with women Wednesday night.

Dr. Raja K. Jagtiani, 54, was originally charged with criminal sexual contact, simple assault, and harassment by offensive touching on Aug. 27, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor's office.

A Prosecutor's office news release did not provide details, but a NorthJersey.com report said Jagtiani had been accused of touching an employee's breast and biting her cheek at his office in Bergenfield, prosecutors said.

Since then, three other women have come forward with allegations against Jagtiani, and he has been arrested again and charged with four more counts of criminal sexual assault and one count of harassment by offensive touching, prosecutors said.

The NorthJersey.com report indicated that the others who came forward were more employees and a patient.

Bail for Jagtiani was set at $50,000, and he has been released, prosecutors said.
