Sources To 1010 WINS: Woman Caught In Crossfire In Brooklyn Bodega Shooting

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police said a woman was shot and wounded outside a Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn bodega Tuesday afternoon, while she was picking up her child from daycare.

The shooting happened around 2:30 p.m. at Throop Avenue and Quincy Street in Brooklyn, police said.

Law enforcement sources told 1010 WINS the shots were fired between a worker at the bodega and someone trying to rob the store, police sources told 1010 WINS.

The woman was caught in the crossfire and was wounded in the leg, sources said.

Police were said to be looking for two suspects who fled in a sedan.
