Authorities: Traveler At JFK Airport Found Carrying $87K Worth Of Cocaine

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) - Authorities allege a passenger arriving at New York City's John F. Kennedy International Airport was carrying about $87,000 worth of cocaine.

Jerrita Baker, 31, of Columbus, Ohio, faces narcotics smuggling charges, U.S. Customs said Wednesday.

She was arrested after a K-9 named Fenja alerted her handler to a suspicious suitcase on Sunday.

Baker is being prosecuted by the U.S. attorney's office in Brooklyn.

Information on her attorney was not immediately available.
