Authorities: Man Tried To Board Plane With Sword Hidden In Cane

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man was arrested at John F. Kennedy International Airport Friday, after he allegedly tried to board a plane with a sword concealed in a cane.

The man was trying to board a flight for Burbank, California, when he was arrested by the Transportation Security Administration, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey said.

The unidentified suspect, a 66-year-old man, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
