Another Round Of Snow Coming, But Little Accumulation Expected
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The city issued precautions for more snow Wednesday, but major accumulation was not expected.
CBS 2's Lonnie Quinn reported snow will blowing into the Tri-State Area Wednesday, and Thursday, in the form of a few quick-hitters. Air will also stay cold throughout the week.

A band of snow showers were blowing through the St. Louis area late Tuesday, and will be coming to the Tri-State Area. An Alberta Clipper will blow southeast from Canada on Thursday, Quinn reported.
More moisture was blowing eastward near the Gulf of Mexico, and the systems could make for a big snowstorm if they come together. But the systems will miss each other, and only a fraction of an inch of accumulation is expected for Wednesday, Quinn forecast.
Conditions will clear after snow showers in the early part of the day on Wednesday. The snow will return for the latter part of the day on Thursday, and between the two snow events, totals of only a dusting to 2 inches are expected, Quinn forecast.
Still, the city has taken precautions for the coming snow, including a snow alert beginning at 6 a.m. Wednesday.
Department crews have begun loading salt spreaders, attaching plows and preparing tire chains. The department is also coordinating with the Office of Emergency Management and the Department of Transportation on snow clearing protocol.
The city has also suspended alternate-side parking regulations citywide for Wednesday, but meters must still be paid.
Meanwhile, don't look for a warm-up anytime soon. The high for Wednesday is only 29, Thursday 31, Friday 26, Saturday 30, and Sunday 28.
