Police: AMBER Alert Canceled After Sisters Abducted In Jericho Found Safe
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- An AMBER Alert for two young sisters allegedly abducted by their mother on Long Island has been canceled, according to state police.
Nassau County police said Sun Shin, 31, took off with her daughters -- 2-year-old Love Lee and her 2-month-old sister Promise -- after getting into an argument with her husband in Jericho.
The children were taken under circumstances, leading police to believe that they were in imminent danger of serious physical harm/and or death, authorities said.
The AMBER alert was issued around 7 a.m. Monday.
The alert was canceled around 9 a.m. after police said the children were recovered safely.
