According to resale market ticket aggregator TiqIQ, tickets for the Yankees' home game Friday night against Tampa Bay have a current average list price of $305.49, about four times the $75.92 price they were selling for before A-Rod announced Sunday that he is retiring after that game.

The current "get-in" price -- the cheapest tickets -- are going for $66, up from $16 before Rodriguez's news conference.
How do those prices compare to other recent farewells involving Yankees stars? The average resale price for Derek Jeter's final game in 2014 was $768.09 on average (with a $296 "get-in" price), while tickets to Mariano Rivera's last game a year earlier were listed for $237.89 (with a $61 "get-in").
