7 Injured, Including 4 Children, In Bed-Stuy Crash

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Seven people have been injured after a multiple-car crash in Brooklyn, fire officials said.

A spokesman for the New York Fire Department said emergency workers responded to the accident in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood just after 10 p.m. Saturday.

Four children were hurt, three with minor and one with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, the spokesman said.

Two adults were also hurt, he said. One was rushed to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries and the other was treated for minor injuries.

The ages and identities of the injured weren't immediately released.

Authorities say they're investigating.
