Car collides with 2 MTA buses in Brooklyn, 7 injuries reported

NEW YORK -- A car struck two MTA buses on McDonald Avenue in Flatbush, Brooklyn on Tuesday afternoon, sending multiple people to the hospital.

Remnants of the impact were evident as debris filled the street. Shards of glass and even a shoe were left behind.

Surveillance video obtained by CBS New York paints the picture of what happened. At around 1:20 p.m., a blue car is seen driving down McDonald before crashing into two buses, one after another.

A woman is seen crossing the street with a baby. Workers at a nearby shop said she's lucky to still be alive.

"She was in shock. She couldn't even talk," one worker said. "She was sitting outside, but she was shaking with the baby."

Officials said seven people were sent to the hospital. Their conditions were not immediately known.
