4/4 CBS2 Saturday Afternoon Weather Headlines
By Matt DeLucia, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Good Afternoon!
We cleared out nicely, and bright skies will rule for the rest of today. It's cooler and breezy behind a cold front, with a high of 53 in the city. Mostly clear and cold tonight, with lows dropping into the upper 30s for NYC and lower 30s and even 20s for the suburbs.
Easter Sunday is looking pretty good. Partly sunny skies with temps approaching 60 degrees. There will be increasing clouds heading into the evening, and some scattered showers are possible late.
Monday will definitely be the pick of the week! We'll tap into a southwest flow once again and temps will climb into the 60s under partly sunny skies. It'll be a great day for the Yankees home opener!
Unfortunately, things look rather damp after that. There is at least a chance of showers every day starting Tuesday. By no means will every day be a washout, but we'll be stuck in a rather unsettled pattern for the rest of the week. Temps look to be in the 50s.
