4/29 CBS2 Friday Evening Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Hey folks! Clouds and showers will be around this evening, so if you're heading out for Friday night fun, just be sure to grab the umbrella. Things taper off overnight, and we'll get partly clear and chilly conditions with temps in the upper 30s and low 40s for NYC.

We'll have mostly cloudy skies for much of the day tomorrow with a few breaks of sun here & there...looks like eastern sections of the Tri-State will have a bit more sunshine. It'll be a touch warmer as well with temps reaching the lower 60s.

You'll need to break out the rain gear Sunday, as we expect a rather damp & dreary day with clouds, periods of rain, and cool temps in the low 50s. Looks like rain could be locally moderate/heavy at times -- despite the gloomy finish to the weekend, we actually do need the rain -- and every bit helps.

Have a great night!
