4 Reasons The Rangers Will Win The Stanley Cup
The Rangers are four wins away from bringing the Stanley Cup back to New York for the first time since 1994.
So here are four reasons the Blueshirts will win the Cup -- as if we needed any more proof this is a team of destiny:
1. NY Fans Are Just The Best
Did you watch Game 6 against Montreal? Madison Square Garden was ROCKING. Seriously, it was jiggling like a big, fat bowl of Jell-O. (Or Bartolo Colon's belly.) Even the suits in the good seats couldn't help but let loose. That's New York, baby!
You think the Kings or Blackhawks can come in here and do damage? They might want to bring some ear plugs and anxiety meds. Just sayin'.
And so what if the Rangers won't have home-ice advantage? We have airports. Lots of them. We'll come to you.
2. They Didn't Touch That Trophy
Players (and fans) are superstitious for a reason. And you'll notice that the Rangers did everything they could to avoid touching the Prince of Wales Trophy, even though you know they really, really wanted to.
3. Karma! Sorry, Torts (Not Really)
The universally disliked John Tortorella was fired as head coach on May 29, 2013. The Rangers, out from under that angry, angry cloud, advanced to the Stanley Cup finals on May 29, 2014.
Need we say more?
4. THE KING
Watch this and tell us the Rangers aren't hoisting the Cup. We dare you:
