Signal Problems Halt No. 4, 5 Trains Between Brooklyn And Manhattan
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Signal problems snagged subway service between Brooklyn and Manhattan just in time for the afternoon rush Thursday.
Due to Con Edison power signals affecting power in the Joralemon Tube, which carries the No. 4 and 5 trains under the East River, southbound trains on both services terminated at Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall and Bowling Green, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority said.

Some No. 5 trains ran on the No. 2 line between Nevins Street in Brooklyn and 149th Street-Grand Concourse in the Bronx in both directions, the MTA said.
Northbound No. 4 trains terminated at Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center, the MTA said.
By 6:25 p.m., No. 4 and 5 trains were again running through the Montague Tube, but with delays.
No. 6 trains were also disrupted Thursday evening due to an incident at 125th Street.
Delays were also reported late Thursday afternoon on the Metropolitan Avenue-bound M and Brooklyn-bound R trains in Queens due to signal problems.
Earlier, a broken rail at 72nd Street also snagged service and caused major delays on the A, C, B and D trains.
