3/9 CBS2 Wednesday Afternoon Weather Headlines
By Justin Lewis
The heat is on this afternoon as temperatures soar into record territory -- mid 70's! This, coupled with sunshine, is pretty much a guarantee that people will be out and about. Enjoy!
With the exception of a late shower far north and west of the city, it will remain generally quiet into tonight. Temperatures will only fall into the upper 50s by sunrise.
Tomorrow we'll attempt to break or at least tie some records around the area again. And there will be more clouds, and even a few showers north of the city, but we'll still likely manage to make it into the mid 70's.
A cold front will send those showers through our area tomorrow night and deliver cooler conditions in its wake on Friday. The thing is, we'll still manage to make it into the low to mid 60s, so it will still be about 15+° above normal... can't complain!
As for the weekend, Saturday looks like the better half with highs around 60°; there is a chance of showers on Sunday.
