2/17 CBS2 Tuesday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Clouds and some breaks of sun expected this afternoon. Temps will warm into the mid to upper 20s by day's end.

No problems tonight... partly cloudy with a low around 20°.

Tomorrow's quiet with mostly to partly sunny skies and a high around 30°. We'll see snow showers approach our westernmost counties late in the afternoon and swing through tomorrow night through early Thursday. Additional accumulations of a dusting to an inch are possible. The main story on Thursday though will be the cold... highs struggling to even reach 20° with blustery conditions and single digit wind chills!

And Friday morning will be much like yesterday morning: brutally cold! We'll see near record lows, breezy conditions, and wind chills well below zero! The good news is, it will be a bright finish to the work week.
