1 Dead When Car Slams Into Tree In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - A 19-year-old was killed when a car slammed into a tree on Avenue D and Kings Highway in Brooklyn.
It happened at around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
According to police, an unlicensed Mercedes Benz struck the median, lost control and hit the tree.
The driver was killed and his two passengers were injured. A 16-year-old was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, and another 19-year-old was left in serious condition.
Sources tell CBS2 the car may have been speeding.
