Zoe Saldana pregnant with first child

Zoe Saldana and husband Marco Perego have a little one on the way.

The "Guardians of the Galaxy" actress is pregnant with the couple's first child, her publicist confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday.

Saldana, 36, who has also had roles in "Avatar" and the two recent "Star Trek" films, reportedly wed the Italian artist last summer.

A source told Us Weekly that Saldana is "about three months pregnant" and has "always wanted a big family...and Marco's on board, too!"

"Guardians of the Galaxy," which had its Los Angeles premiere earlier this week, opens in theaters on Aug. 1. Saldana also finalized a deal earlier this year to appear in the next three "Avatar" sequels.
