Woman says she saw missing Tenn. woman Holly Bobo on video

LEXINGTON, Tenn. - A woman has testified that she saw missing Tennessee nursing student Holly Bobo tied up and crying on a video.

The Jackson Sun reports testimony on Tuesday came during a preliminary hearing for Jeffrey Kurt Pearcy, who is charged with tampering with evidence and accessory after the fact in the Bobo case. The charges concern an alleged video of Bobo after she was abducted in 2011.

The judge ruled that there was enough evidence for a grand jury to weigh charges against Pearcy after testimony from Sandra King, who said Pearcy showed her the video in May. Prosecutors allege he and his brother, Mark Pearcy, have knowledge about the video but haven't turned it over to detectives.

Jeffrey Pearcy and his attorney, Olin Baker, have maintained that there is no video and that Pearcy is innocent.

Mark Pearcy has a preliminary hearing set for next month.

Meanwhile, two other men, Zachary Adams and Jason Autry, have pleaded not guilty to kidnapping and murder charges in the case.

During the hearing, King said she has known Jeffrey Pearcy for 19 years and she allowed him to live with her from March through May of this year so his sons could finish school.

She said it was during that time that he showed her a video of a woman tied up with her hands over her head.

"It looked like Holly Bobo," she said. "It was a shock to see it."

She said she watched 30 to 45 seconds of the video before asking Jeffrey Pearcy to turn it off, and waited a couple of weeks before going to police because she wasn't sure she wanted to get involved.

According to CBS affiliate WTVF, King also testified that Jeffrey Pearcy told her that Mark Pearcy had video showing Zachary Adams having sex with Bobo.

TBI special agent Brent Booth testified that he has Mark Pearcy's phone but doesn't yet have the code from Apple to access it.

Bobo was 20 when she disappeared from her home near Parsons in Decatur County on April 13, 2011. Her body has not been found. The case went cold until Adams was arrested in late February.
