Who does Donald Trump think is his strongest opponent in New Hampshire?

Donald Trump has been dominating the Republican primary race in New Hampshire, while the race for second place has been a close contest among several other candidates. Even so, Trump said on Fox that he sees one other GOP candidate emerging as his nearest competitor.

"I thought it was Marco," he said.

Trump came in second in the Iowa caucuses to Sen. Ted Cruz, but Sen. Marco Rubio finished in third, close behind Trump. The latest poll out of New Hampshire, conducted by CNN, suggests that Rubio and Cruz have pulled away from the rest of the candidates vying for second place in the Granite State and are effectively tied.

However, Trump said on Fox Monday that Rubio "perhaps was hurt" by his weak debate performance on Saturday night. "He could be hurt by it. I just don't know," Trump said. "I wouldn't know, you never know what's going to happen."

Later at an event in New Hampshire Monday evening, Trump tore into Rubio for his debate performance, telling his supporters that the senator was "sweating like a dog" during the debate.
