Watch the trailer for Neill Blomkamp's robo-comedy "Chappie"

If you're craving another sentient robot story a la "Wall-E" or "Iron Giant," your wish is about to be granted, in live action.

From "District 9" director Neill Blomkamp comes "Chappie", the story of the first robot that can think and feel for itself.

The film stars Dev Patel ("Slumdog Millionaire"), South African hip-hop group Die Antwoord's Ninja and Yo-Landi Vi$$er and Hugh Jackman.

It hits theaters March 6, and and Chappie isn't the only one who will be feeling something after you watch the emotional first trailer below:
