Watch: Barbra Streisand duets with Jimmy Fallon

The last time Barbra Streisand graced late-night television Lyndon B. Johnson was president and The Monkees' "I'm A Believer" rocked the charts.

The singer/actress made her first appearance on evening TV for first time since 1967 on Monday night, visiting "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." The last time she showed up on a late-night show, Johnny Carson was host.

The 72-year-old singer has been making the rounds to promote her new "Partners" compilation, which features duets with Elvis Presley, Blake Shelton and Michael Buble and more.

Speaking of duets, Streisand did a few with Fallon during her appearance.

"Of course Elvis is no longer with us," Fallon said. "So standing in for Elvis, Blake and Buble will be me."

After their performance, Streisand told Fallon, "Actually, I was very impressed with you. You're very good." Not too shabby coming from the Oscar and Grammy winner.

"I gotta be honest, I thought you might be a nightmare, or a diva," Fallon joked. "But, you were nice to everybody here. You are allowed to be a diva. What did you do with Barbra Streisand?"
