Tyra Banks to leave talk show after less than 3 months

Tyra Banks is saying goodbye to daytime TV.

The supermodel/TV host quitting her own talk show, "FABLife," after less than three months, according to an exclusive from The Hollywood Reporter.

"This is a very difficult decision, but necessary," she said about leaving the series produced by Disney and ABC.

Banks, 41, says she wants devote more time to her entertainment ventures and her cosmetics line, TYRA Beauty, which is "expanding faster than anticipated."

"I will, however, continue to support the growth and success of FABLife and greatly admire my fellow co-hosts and the talented production team behind the show," Banks said in the statement to THR.

Banks will stay on as executive producer of the series through the next month. The show features a series of co-hosts and guest contributors, including Chrissy Teigen, fashion editor Joe Zee, interior designer Lauren Makk and YouTube star Leah Ashley.

There are currently no plans to replace Banks.
